Following are the district-by-district results of last night’s board of education election. These results are preliminary and might not reflect the final tally, after provisional ballots have been assessed.
Up for election were two board of education seats, which were being sought by incumbents Joseph Longo and William Freda. Challengers were Ralph Vellon and Eric Schwartz. Also on the ballot was the 2011-12 school district budget. The incumbents won, and the budget passed.
