Boys Basketball: After losing 55-40 to Verona, the Buccaneers (5-4) bounced back with a 62-61 win Friday night over Oratory Prep. Senior Keith Everett led the way for the Bucs with 27 total points in both games.
Girls basketball: A pair of losses to Newark Academy and then Nutley, have the girls at 3-7 heading towards the halfway mark of the season. They fell 56-26 to Newark Academy and 55-23 to neighboring rival Nutley.
Wrestling: The Belleville grapplers improved to 9-2 this season, at home Wednesday night. The bout served as the Jim Silvestri Scholarship fundraiser, who passed away in 2010.
