Unhappy Holidays: Get Tips For Stress Relief At Nutley Panel Event

NUTLEY, NJ — For some Nutley residents, the winter holidays are a time of happiness. But for others, the holidays can trigger feelings of anxiety, loneliness, loss, stress and even depression.

In an effort to reach out to the latter group with some tips for stress relief, several local organizations will team up to hold a free discussion panel at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Nutley Public Library, 93 Booth Drive.

According to a municipal advisory:

“The Nutley Health Department, Nutley Family Service Bureau, Nutley Schools and The Nutley Public Library have partnered to host a discussion panel consisting of professionals in the fields of mental health, nursing, education and social work to address these issues and offer tips to ease the stress and anxiety that some may experience. Our panelists will touch on topics that affect teens to seniors and everyone in between.”

The panel’s speakers include:

• Averi Zarbetski, Nutley High School Student Assistance Coordinator
• Molly Clark, Nutley Family Service Bureau Case Management Coordinator
• Patty Cruz, Nutley Public Health Nurse Supervisor
• Staela Keegan, Nutley Family Service Bureau Senior Clinical Supervisor
• Moderator: Katherine Carmichael, Nutley Family Service Bureau Executive Director
