Vandals Strike Nutley Park Bathrooms, Cause $1,000 Damage
The damage included shattered mirrors, a broken toilet tank and a damaged water fountain, Nutley police say.

Nutley police reported that unknown vandals destroyed a set of bathrooms in Booth Park on Oct. 19.
According to police, officers found more than $1,000 of damage to the interior of the men’s and women’s bathrooms in the Nutley park.
Damage to the men’s room included: a shattered mirror, broken light bulbs and a broken toilet tank and paper towel dispenser. In addition, paper towels appeared to have been set on fire and the cardboard backing of the mirror appeared to be burned, police stated.

Damage to the women’s room included: a shattered mirror, a broken paper towel dispenser and burn marks/ash in the area.
In addition to the bathroom damage, the same actors are suspected of breaking the head off a water fountain by the softball field, police stated.
