WATCH: Belleville Home Fire Injures Firefighters, Displaces Residents

The Belleville fire may have started in the home's kitchen due to an appliance, a report said.

Belleville, NJ – A house fire on Union Avenue injured two Belleville firefighters and displaced three residents early on Saturday morning, authorities stated.

The fire – which took 80 minutes to get under control – may have started in the home’s kitchen due to an appliance, Belleville Fire Department Battalion Chief Timothy Buckley told NorthJersey.com.

Three people - two adults and a child - evacuated the home and did not suffer any injuries, but the house was rendered uninhabitable, NorthJersey.com reported.
