Watch Belleville School Board Candidate Debate: 2023 Election

BELLEVILLE, NJ — With the 2023 general election just around the bend, candidates for the Belleville Board of Education met to debate the issues at a public forum on Wednesday.

The forum was held at Belleville High School. It was presented by the Belleville High School Law Academy and the high school mock trial team.

There are seven candidates running for two open seats on the board: Nelson Barrera, Lissa Missaggia, Kenia Nicole Arroyuabe, Erika Jacho, Esteban Leon, Brenda Pacheco and Michael Sheldon.
