Woman Locked In Burger King; Fell Asleep In Bathroom: Nutley PD

She fell asleep in the bathroom. When she woke up, the Burger King was empty and the doors were locked, Nutley police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police say that a woman allegedly fell asleep in the women’s bathroom at a local Burger King earlier this month, waking up to an empty, locked restaurant.

According to the Nutley Police Department, officers received a 911 call from a woman locked in the Burger King around 5 a.m. on Sunday, July 8. The woman apparently fell asleep in the bathroom, then woke up to discover that the employees had all left the building.

She then learned that the doors were closed and locked, police said.

Police soon arrived on the scene, entered the building and freed the trapped woman, authorities said.
