A series of events in Nutley will celebrate Women's History Month for 2023.

NUTLEY, NJ — A series of events in Nutley will celebrate Women’s History Month for 2023.

Nutley Commissioner John Kelly III and the Nutley Department of Public Affairs and Health recently announced details about the partnership with the Nutley Public School District and the Women’s Networking Group.

“Together we recognize and celebrate the many successful roles that women have taken on over the years in our state and in our township through educational, sports, entertaining and business entrepreneurship,” Kelly said.

March 8 - Meet & Greet Kickoff Reception

  • 6:00 PM – 8:00PM
  • Meet and Greet the presenters and attendees of the upcoming WHM events. Open to the Community – Register Here for this free event.

March 17 - Dynamic Women’s History Month Panel

  • Nutley High School – 300 Franklin Avenue, Nutley
  • 9:00AM-10:00AM FRESHMAN STUDENTS
  • Speakers: Tina Cervasio – FOX News Sports Reporter; Betsy Montane – Wrestling referee Montclair State University; Lieutenant Colonel Lapidow – Lawyer and Combat Engineer/Combat Veteran/JAG/Army Officer

March 21 - Women’s Health and Professional Career Panel

  • Nutley High School – 300 Franklin Avenue, Nutley
  • 6:30PM – 8:30PM
  • Join us for a fun discussion as we get to learn about select Women’s Health Topics as well as various careers from a group of many professional women and their lives as business owners.

March 28 - Sip and Shop - Women’s Networking Reception

  • 160 Franklin Avenue
  • 6:30 PM – 9:30PM
  • Women-owned businesses will be in attendance to introduce, promote and or demonstrate their products and various services and goods. Looking for a night out to socialize, network and just have fun? Join us for coffee/unique espresso shots and light complimentary refreshments.
