• Road Closures Set As Holiday City Culvert Project Commences (patch.com) — Holiday City drivers in Berkeley face several months of detours as the township begins a culvert improvement project that will close key sections of Jamaica Boulevard, Bimini Drive, Bananier Drive, and Charlotteville Drive. Closures start around Sept. 25 and run in phases through mid-November, with access for residents and services maintained while traffic to and from Route 37 is rerouted.
   

• New Middle School Principal Shares His Goals for Students (jerseyshoreonline.com) — Central Regional Middle School in Berkeley is welcoming new principal Joseph Toth, who plans a listening-first approach while students adjust to New Jersey's new ban on personal internet devices in schools. Toth, a longtime Central educator, aims to strengthen connections between the middle and high schools and ensure students feel seen, supported, and engaged in school life.
