BERKELEY, NJ — Halloween is this Saturday, and kids looking to get some treats will be out walking through the evening.
Berkeley's official trick-or-treat hours for 2026 are set for 2 p.m. through 9 p.m.
Unlike some other neighboring towns, Berkeley's trick-or-treat falls on Oct. 31. Toms River and other towns trick-or-treat on Oct. 30 due to the annual Halloween parade falling on the holiday itself.
Find more information about the Toms River parade here.
Councilman James Byrnes shared some advice for families on social media.
As our little ghosts and goblins head out for Halloween fun, please remember to stay safe!
Parents: Keep children on sidewalks whenever possible and away from the roadway.
Drivers: Slow down, stay alert, and keep your eyes on the road! Watch for excited trick-or-treaters who may unexpectedly run into the street.
Let's work together to make Halloween a fun and safe night for everyone!
