Anne Brex Of Bayville Dies At 101

Anne Brex (nee Abrecht), 101, of Bayville died on Wednesday Oct. 22, 2014 at the Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. Born in Germany, she immigrated to the United States in the 20’s, originally settling in Newark, she later resided in Springfield before moving to Forked River in the late 70s. Anne had always enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are her son, Donald Lieter and his wife Leslie of Bayville; four grandsons, Tom and his wife Kathleen, John and his wife Colleena, Dan and his wife Vernica, and Bill and his wife Diana; along with her six great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole, Jordan, Keoni, Rebecca and Noah.

Cremation was private and under the direction of Riggs Funeral Home in Forked River.
