Annual Arts And Craft Fair At Popcorn Park Zoo On Tap For This Weekend

Want to help the animals of the Associated Humane Societies’ Popcorn Park Zoo and have a good time at the same time?

Come on out to the zoo at 1 Humane Way on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the organization’s annual Craft and Vendor Fair.

The event will feature K-9 demonstrations, belly dancing, jugglers, face painting and food available for purchase. Vinnie Van Gogh - a pit bull found terribly injured early last year in Newark from dog fighting - has recovered and is waiting to meet you.

Admission to the craft fair is free. Admission to the zoo is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and children ages 3 to 11.

All of the proceeds benefit the animals at Animal Haven Farm and the zoo.
