Annual 'Night Out Against Crime' Is Wednesday In Berkeley

The event begins at 5 p.m. at Veterans Park and includes two musical acts, plus an opportunity to meet local first responders and more.

BERKELEY, NJ — Two musical acts headline Berkeley's annual "Night Out Against Crime," which is Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Veterans Park.

The police department, first aid squads, fire departments and other public safety agencies will be present, displaying vehicles and equipment and giving people an opportunity to meet local first responders. The DARE program will also be there with games and prizes for children.

The event begins at 5 p.m. Atlantic City headliner Gerard Esposito will perform at 6, sharing music from Broadway to Vegas. He will be followed at 7:30 by Jukebox Heroes, chronicling music legends like The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, The Beatles and more.
