Annual Ocean Gate Day On Tap For Saturday
Cardboard boat races, food, vendors, live music and more.

It’s that time of the year when residents of this tiny town on the Toms River get together to celebrate.
The annual Ocean Gate Day kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday and will run until 4 p.m. More entertainment will follow from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., when Bums in the Park plays, Mayor Paul J. Kennedy said.
One of the highlights of the day will be the Ocean Gate First Aid Squad’s cardboard boat races at the Wildwood Avenue beach.
