Bayville Man Ranks First In His Division At Boston Marathon

BERKELEY, NJ — Thousands of participants crossed the starting line at the Boston Marathon on April 18. And not only were some of them Ocean County residents, one of them placed first in his division.

Rick Lee, 61, of Bayville, took first place in the 60 to 64 men's division, according to Boston Athletic Association records. Lee ranked 1,075th in the men's category and 1,130th overall.

Lee ran an average of 6 minutes and 25 seconds per mile. He completed the marathon in two hours and 47 seconds.
