As the federal government shutdown causes strife for affected families, Tea Spot in Bayville can help them unwind for a bit. Tea Spot announced that furloughed workers and their families can collect $5 in store credit daily until the shutdown ends.
Tea Spot (655 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville) serves over 75 different types of herbal teas alongside kratom tea, the restaurant says.
"If the Furlong is not ended shortly we will do our best to provide Food for any & every family when can afford to feed within 10 Days," owner Christopher Charles Yager wrote on Facebook. "I have a plethora of associates in the food industry from my time in Business Management...I will do my best to not let any single of our communities affected families."
