Bayville's Wunder Wiener To Return Soon, Report Says
After years, it seems like the wait is almost over for the return of the beloved der Wunder Wiener, a report said.
BAYVILLE, NJ — It's been four years since Gerald LaCrosse was severely injured when a SUV slammed into him while he was inside his roadside hot dog stand. Since then, locals have wondered when Bayville landmark der Wunder Wiener might finally return. Now, it seems like the wait is nearly over, according to a new report.
Wunder Wiener will return, this time at 108 Atlantic City Blvd in Bayville, according to a report by WOBM.
No exact date was given on when the beloved stand would return, but contractor for Wunder Wiener told WOBM that it would be "not far off."

In the years since the accident, LaCrosse has wanted to bring back the stand. But his recovery, coupled with the pandemic, surely have not made that easy.
There still will need to be inspection and set-up, according to the report. However, WOBM confirmed that Wunder Wiener will be returning. Soon, Ocean County residents will again be able to enjoy a delicious Italian hot dog from Wunder Wiener.
