Beachwood's Annual Fireworks Display Draws Thousands Of Ocean County Residents
People from towns along the Toms River flock to Beachwood Beach on the Fourth of July

Years ago, many of the small towns along the Toms River had their own fireworks displays.
Ocean Gate, Island Heights, Pine Beach and even Toms River fired off their own shows every Fourth of July. But the cost of insurance coverage for each town became prohibitive.
So they banded together to help pay for a large display held in Beachwood on the bluff overlooking the Toms River. The fireworks exploded into the sky and boomed over the water. Visitors crammed onto Beachwood Beach for a spectacular display.
