Berkeley Adds 2 Dates For Emergency Food Kit Distribution
The 'crisis' food kits provide a family of four with basic groceries to help residents struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township added two dates to distribute emergency food kits for residents struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. Each kit provides a family of four with basic groceries.
They will be distributed Thursday and June 4 at two locations: the Holiday City at Berkeley Clubhouse parking lot and the Berkeley Recreation Center (630 Atlantic City Blvd.).
Pickup will last from 12-1:30 p.m. each day. The Township asked that residents wait until noon before lining up. Volunteers will distribute food kits via drive-thru. Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles with their windows closed, while opening their trunk so volunteers can place kits in the trunk of truck bed.
