Berkeley Community Pride Day Sets Return With Family Fun

Enjoy live music, inflatables and more at this year's Berkeley Community Pride Day, celebrating the anniversary of the township.

BERKELEY, NJ — Summer is coming to an end, and with it bringing the end of the Berkeley Sounds of Summer Concert Series. But one last bash is scheduled for Sept. 10, with the return of Berkeley Community Pride Day, also known as Founders Day.

Head to Veterans Park from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a day full of fun. There will be vendors, local non-profits and community groups present. Inflatables will be available for kids to play.

At 5 p.m., a 9/11 Memorial and Remembrance Ceremony will be held at the 9/11 Memorial.

Musical entertainment begins at 6 p.m. with Stiletto & the Saxman, performing hits of Doo-Wop, the Rat Pack, standards and more. At 7:30 p.m. headliner the British Invasion will perform, with hits from both sides of the Atlantic.

At 9 p.m., the summer concert series will close out with a fireworks display. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show.
