Berkeley Cops Investigating Burglary At Blackbeard's Cave
Cash and a heavy safe were stolen, police chief says.

Berkeley police are looking for information about a recent burglary at Blackbeard's Cave on Route 9, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Police responded to a report of a burglary at the miniature golf and driving range at 7:33 a.m. on Feb. 26, the chief said.
Someone broke the rear windows to enter the building and then took cash and a heavy office safe. Surveillance video revealed the suspect appeared to be a man between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing between 200 to 225 pounds, DiMichele said

Patrolman Clark Baranyay, Sgt. Michael Roth, and Detective Tier were also on scene to assist in the investigation. Anyone with anyone hasinformation about this incident should contact the detective bureau in the Berkeley Township Police Department. All information is confidential and callers will remain anonymous, the chief said.
