Daycare In Bayville Reportedly Cited For Infant-Safety Violations
The Learning Experience of Bayville staff didn't wash their hands after diaper changes, according to the Asbury Park Press.
BERKELEY, NJ — The state cited the Learning Experience of Bayville for several sanitary and infant-safety violations, according to the Asbury Park Press. The daycare center was reportedly cited Aug. 8 and again on Aug. 28 by the state's Division of Children and Families' Office of Licensing.
The Learning Experience staff failed to wash their hands after diaper changes, according to the Asbury Park Press. They reportedly also left blankets with babies, which pediatricians nationally consider a smother hazard.
A corporate spokesperson declined comment on specific violations but told the Asbury Park Press, "We work closely with state regulators to address any compliance opportunities and resolve any outstanding concerns."
