Berkeley Drive-In Movie Postponed To Next Week

Berkeley will present 'A League of Their Own' next Wednesday at Veterans Park.

BERKELEY, NJ — There's no crying in baseball or when Berkeley postpones its drive-in movie. The Township postponed its showing of "A League of Their Own" to Wednesday at Veterans Park.

Vehicles should start lining up at 7 p.m. for the 8:30 p.m. showtime. Only preregistered vehicles are allowed. Register here. You will receive an email notification or get placed on a wait list for the next movie night.

Cars will get placed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to be paired with a friend, you must arrive together.

Food vendors will include Chuck's Ice Cream, Dags Dippers, Devils Brownies and Waffle House.

Porta Potties and hand-sanitizer stations will be available. Sound is available through an FM transmitter and available on radios. Moviegoers will receive instructions before the movie begins.

You must wear a mask to exit your vehicle. Windows and sunroofs can open during the event, since vehicles will be more than 6 feet apart.

The event was originally set for this Wednesday. "A League of Their Own" won in a vote which included sports flicks "Field of Dreams," "Rudy," "The Natural" and "Hoosiers."
