Berkeley Harvest, Wine Festival Includes Chocolate Tasting Tent

The family-friendly event also includes a wine tent for the adults.

BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley Township will hold The Mayor's Harvest And Wine Festival this weekend. The event is free, but organizers request you bring one canned or dry good for the mayor's drive for the local food pantry.

The event begins at noon Saturday and Sunday at Veterans Park. It will also feature a tasting tent from The Special World of Chocolate. The tent costs $10 and runs from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission entitles the purchaser to access the tent all five hours each day. Food trucks from throughout the tristate area will be there from 12-9 p.m. Some vendors are cash only, but there will be an ATM near the main entrance and stage. Artisan and craft vendors will be open from noon to dusk, and the stage will feature live music all day.

Free family activities include corn hole, Connect 4, Kam Jam and a bounce house (12-6 p.m.). An inflatable obstacle course will run from 12-5 p.m. Sunday. The course costs $3 per person for unlimited tries, or $5 for two bands.

No backpacks, coolers our outside food and beverages will be permitted. No pets allowed except service or guide dogs.
