Berkeley Hosting Flood Insurance Info Seminar
The event takes place at Berkeley Town Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. March 28.
Flooding can complicate things, especially when it comes to insurance. Berkeley Township will host a seminar that could make that matter less complicated.
Berkeley Township will host a community outreach program from 6 to 8 p.m. March 28 at Berkeley Town Hall (627 Pinewald Keswick Road, Bayville). The event is free to all community members who would like to review their property and insurance information.
A licensed floodplain management professional will attend. Residents can receive a cost-saving analysis on a case-by-base basis. Discussion will cover flood insurance options, the possibility of lowering your insurance premiums and ensuring that construction of your new home, or lifting of an existing home, complies with FEMA regulations.
