Berkeley Little League Sale, Fall Registration Today From 2 p.m. To 4 p.m.

The Berkeley Little League is holding a two-fer today - a sale on all league items and a chance to sign up for fall registration.

All items in stock are on sale to make room for new fall items, league President Robert J. Everett Jr. said.

That includes T-shirts, hats, coaches' shirts and other items, he said.

Players and coaches can also sign up for fall registration in the Volunteer Community Center at the league complex on Moorage Avenue, Everett said.

"All of our plans are based on having enought certified coaches volunteer to run the program," Everett said.

A Rutgers coach certification class will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 29.

The "Skills and Drills" program for players ages 5 through 11 starts on Sept. 8 and runs through Oct. 13.

T-Ball players ages 5 and 6 mush have played this summer.

Costs are $40 per player and a work bond deposit of $150, Everett said.
