Berkeley Organization To Hold Annual Food, Toy Drive
The Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association will host its annual event Nov. 7.
BERKELEY, NJ — The Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association will host its annual food and toy drive. People can drop off donations from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 7 at the H&M Potter School on Veeder Lane.
"The food pantries in our area are struggling to keep up with the demand," the BSHCA said. "This is our chance to step up and help the many needy families in the Bayville area have an enjoyable Thanksgiving Season."
Food items needed — BSHCA requested no glass:

- canned vegetables
- tuna/stew/raviola
- powdered/flaked potatoes
- stuffing
- canned gravy
- cans of soup
- pasta sauce
- rice/pasta/dried beans
- peanut butter and jelly
- cereal
- oatmeal
- cans of fruit and applesauce
- kid-friendly foods, including granola bars, popcorn, graham or animal crackers and pudding cups
At the same time, they'll accept toys for the annual Bayville PBA #237 Toy Drive. The drop-off point is the H&M Potter School.
