This Berkeley Spot Is Ocean County's Greatest Restaurant: Report

BERKELEY, NJ — In a place like Ocean County, there's no shortage of great places to eat. Especially when it comes to seafood. But which one is the best? According to this county-by-county breakdown of the best restaurants in New Jersey by NJ.com, it's actually right here in Berkeley.

That spot is Chef Mike's ABG in South Seaside Park. The author of the report said he ate there two nights in a row in 2020 because the food was simply that good.

Brick native Mike Jurusz's motto is "bringing sexy food back" and that is what he aims to do with the fresh, delicious meals you can get at this spot, right by Island Beach State Park.

The report recommends the lamb chops and tuna spring rolls. But Chef Mike's ABG also has great fresh seafood that comes out of Viking Village in Barnegat Light and day boats off of Point Beach, the report said.
