Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Ms. Pineno is the absolute best early education teacher I have ever met. She embodies every personality trait you would choose in a teacher for young children if you were able to. She is smart, kind, patient, creative, caring and firm but gentle. She knows exactly how to assist small minds into thriving in education. My son thrived in her pre-school class for two years at Bayville School. She was creative in getting him to follow schedules, she was kind and patient with his “big feelings” as he was learning to navigate his new role as a student. She gave him hugs and held his hand when he was scared and home sick. She learned his personality , his ways of learning and she would go out of her way to help him achieve. Ms. Pineno would also communicate all of this to us as parents, every day . She helped ease our nervousness and fears and we will miss her greatly. We will never forget what a wonderful teacher she is, and how she helped our son start his educational journey.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is just wonderful. She goes above and beyond for her students AND their families. She is such a kind person.
