BERKELEY, NJ — It was in November of 1964 when Double Trouble Village and its surrounding woods were purchased from the Double Trouble Company and then turned into one of New Jersey's state parks. In honor of its 60th anniversary, the park is hosting several special events.

One event is "Stories From the Porch," where guests are invited to bring a blanket or chair and listen to tales from Double Trouble's Pinelands history told from the loading dock of the century-old cranberry packing house.

This is weather dependent and will be canceled for rain or thunder. No reservations are necessary.
