“We can’t get into details,” schools Administrator Kevin O’Shea said before the board went into closed session.
Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides suspended Athletic Director Vincent Casale on Feb. 2 and escorted him from the Central Regional campus, over what he termed a personnel matter that doesn’t involve students or staff.

Casale has been athletic director in the district for roughly a decade. He was suspended with pay, Parlapanides has said.
Parlapanides said in February he could not discuss the details of the suspension until the matter was discussed with the Board of Education.
“There’s still an investigation going on,” he has said. “The full board still has to hear it.”
Casale makes $134,843 a year, O’Shea has said.
Central Regional High School Principal Douglas Corbett was named interim athletic director until the matter is resolved, Parlapanides said.
