Central Regional Choir Wins WOBM Christmas Choir Classic For Second Year In A Row

December’s been a good month for the Central Regional High School Choir.

Earlier this month, the choral group had the honor of singing at the White House. A few days ago, the students won WOBM’s Christmas Chorus contest, just like they did in 2013.

“Winning is wonderful, but the love and support we have received from our community means everything,” Moore said. ”This has been quite a December for us.”

The Central Regional choir beat out Toms River High School South and Barnegat High School in the contest.

“Last year, we sang a medley of Christmas carols,” Moore said. ”This year we decided to go with the classic ”Carol of the Bells.” We love singing on the radio.”
