Central Regional Eighth-Grader Emiliana Rose O'Brien Dies At 13
Middle School student succumbs after six-month battle with osteosarcoma.

It was just about a month ago that the staff of the Central Regional school district, township officials and Berkeley police came together in a volleyball game benefit for Emiliana Rose O’Brien.
Sadly, Emiliana, an eighth-grader at Central Regional Middle School, died on Tuesday at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after a six-month battle with osteosarcoma .

Emiliana is survived by her parents Janet and Timothy O’Brien; her siblings Caitlyn and Connor O’Brien; her maternal grandparents Janet and John Montefusco of Bayville, her paternal grandparents Lorraine and John O’Brien of West Long Branch, her great-grandmother Florence Russomano of West Long Branch, NJ and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 pm. on Friday December 4, 2015 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals –O’Connell Chapel, 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday December 5, 2015 at St. Barnabas R.C Church, Bayville,
