Central Regional High School November Seniors of the Month

Jillian McNicholl and Nicholas Viespoli have been recognized as CRHS Seniors of Month- Congratulations!

Jillian McNicholl

Jillian McNicholl lights up a room with her smile, and a proven record of achievement gives her a lot to smile about. Jill maintained a weighted GPA of 103.1 while enrolled in rigorous Honor and AP level courses. She earned college credits with Georgian Court University as part of the Humanities Academy. She was recognized for High Honor Roll throughout high school, and she received an Academic Letter. She was the Student of the Marking Period for Physics Honors and inducted into The National Honor Society. Her positive attitude and personable nature was honored by the Renaissance Educators’ Choice Award.

Jill has numerous interests and involvements outside the classroom. She played Varsity Golf in grade 9, JV Field Hockey grades 9-10, Track grade 10, and Varsity Volleyball grades 11-12. She was awarded the Scholar Athlete Certificate every season of play. She was a member of school clubs including Interact, Ocean, Writing, and Kindness Krusaders. She volunteered with SAIL and Teen Advisory Board. She was honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award by the Corporation of National and Community Service. She worked as baby sitter, tutor, and at Payless Shoes. Her hobbies include photography, running, poetry, and playing the guitar.

Jill would like to pursue a degree in Marketing and Advertising. Her top school choices are Villanova, Rider, Temple, and Drexel.

Nicholas Viespoli

Nicholas Viespoli is bright, diligent, and well-rounded. He enjoyed numerous academic accomplishments throughout his high school career. He earned High Honor Roll every marking period while enrolled in Honor and AP level courses. He was recognized as Student of Marking Period for Pre-Calculus and for highest GPA in Advanced Digital Production. He participated in The Teen Arts Film Festival. He received the Presidents Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence and a CRHS Academic Letter. He was inducted into the Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and National Honor Society.

Nicholas balanced his studies with extracurricular activities, community service and work. He participated in the Math League and Science League. He was a member of the Debate Club, Chess Club, and Kindness Krusaders. He represented CRHS in the Academic Challenge. He joined the Bowling team this year. He volunteered to coach Little League Baseball. He assisted at OCC Library, Beachwood Branch. He provided tutoring and other services as a member of the National Honor Society. He worked as an umpire for Berkeley Little League.

Nick intends to pursue a degree in Accounting/Business. He is interested in attending Rider, University of Pitt, or University of Delaware.
