Mock Trial Team Receives Honor

The Central Regional High School Mock Trial Team will be honored by the Ocean County Bar Association on Friday, May 1, 2015, as part of the Law Day Ceremony for their win of the Ocean County Mock Trial Championship.  The recognition will take place at 12:30 p.m. in Courtroom #1 of the Ocean County Courthouse, Toms River.  Led by their coach, Mr. Scott Alfano, the Central Regional High School Mock Trial Team defeated the Ocean County M.A.T.E.S. Academy.  After a loss in the finals to Brick High School last year during the championship, the Central team was determined to bring home this year’s title and they are now planning for a run at the state title next year.
