Central Regional Triumphs Over Oakcrest, First Playoff Win In 20 Years

Central Regional High School’s Golden Eagles overpowered Oakcrest in the South Jersey Group III game Friday night by a score of 28-14, according to Shore Sports Network.

Sophomore running back Mike Bickford rushed 208 yards and scored three touchdowns on a career-high 41 carries to help the Golden Eagles clinch their first state playoff game since 1994 and their second in program history, Shore Sports Network said.

Central now heads top-seeded Allentown for the semifinals.
