Central Regional winter concert on tap for Tuesday
Concert band and choirs team up for annual holiday event

Approximately 55 vocalists and 73 instrumentalists will be performing in Central Regional High School's annual winter concert on Tuesday evening, according to Jeff Genthe, high school band director.
Many of the students are shared among the various ensembles, which will be performing seasonal and holiday pieces, Genthe said.
Highlights will include the Chamber Choir's "Do You Hear What I Hear" and "Greensleeves," the Women's Choir's "Jolly Old St. Nicholas," the Wind Ensemble's "O Nata Lux," the Concert Band's annual alumni invitational play of "Sleigh Ride" and the combined alumni invitational sing/play of the "Hallelujah Chorus."

"This year's concert performance will be of better quality due to the reduction in the number of pieces each group will perform which gives them more time to perfect their material," Genthe said.
Conductors of the concert are Elizabeth Moore, Rosemarie Shivers and Genthe. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM in the auditorium of Central Regional High School.
