Christian 'Larry' Thompson, Jr., Owner Of Whitey's Landing In Bayville, Dies At 74
Services for lifelong Bayville resident will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Christian “Larry” Thompson, Jr., 74 of Bayville, N.J. died on Saturday March 19, 2016 at Rose Garden Nursing Home in Toms River, NJ.
He was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Bayville, NJ. Larry owned and operated Whitey’s Landing in Bayville after taking over the business from his parents over 30 years ago. He was a teamster for Local #469 in Eatontown, NJ and Local # 208.

Larry was predeceased by his parents Christian L. Thompson, Sr. and Lillian Thompson; his wife Joan Ketcham-Thompson and his brother Donald Thompson.
Surviving are his daughters Tobi Thompson of Barnegat, NJ and Lori Thompson of South Toms River, NJ; his sister Lillian “Babe” Britton of Bayville, NJ and his grandchildren Bobby, Kayla, Kelly and Robert.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel on 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the funeral home. A committal service will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
