BERKELEY, NJ — Forecasted rain means that Berkeley's annual Christmas tree lighting has been postponed.

Originally set for Dec. 1 at 5 p.m., the event at Veterans Park has now been postponed like others in Ocean County, according to township officials.

And as of Friday afternoon, a rescheduled date has not been set. Patch will update when a new date is announced.
