Christmas Tree Lighting Set In Berkeley

After the tree is lit, stay tuned for a drive-in showing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," all at Veterans Park.

BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley's annual Christmas tree lighting is set for Dec. 9, and it comes with a night full of holiday festivities.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. at the Veterans Park stage. There will be performances by the Central Regional Marching Band, Central Regional Cheerleaders and a dance performance by Dance Force.

Don't miss the day's special guest - Santa Claus himself! Bring your camera and kids can sit with Santa and have their picture taken.

Hot chocolate and coffee will be provided by Wawa of Bayville, and cookies will be available.

Stick around after the lighting for a drive-in screening of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Berkeley Recreation anticipates the movie to begin around 7 p.m.
