TheNational Weather Service is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Highs will be in the mid-80s. Beach winds will be from the south at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The ocean water temperature is 78 degrees.
The surf will around three feet, with southeast swells around two feet. There's moderate risk of rip currents which means wind or wave conditions can support stronger or more frequent currents. Always take a flotation device with you in the water. Swim only in guarded areas and discuss any possible surf zone hazards with them.

The lightning threat is low, which means there is little chance of thunderstorms.
Low tide at Barnegat Inlet was at 7:51 a.m. High tide will roll in at 2:05 p.m., followed by another at 8:29 p.m.
