The highs will be in the mid-80s. Winds will be from the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The lightning threat is high, which means thunderstorms are likely or expected.
The surf will be around three feet, with east swells of two feet. The water temperature is 78 degrees. There's a moderate risk of rip currents, which means wind or wave conditions can support stronger or more frequent currents. Swim only in guarded areas and make sure you always have a flotation device with you while in the water. Discuss possible surf zone hazards with the guards.

The UV index is a 9, which the NWS considers very high.
High tide at Barnegat Inlet is expected at 11a.m. Low tide will roll into at 5:09 p.m., followed by another high tide at 11:11 p.m.
