The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s.

Beach winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

The surf will be around three feet, with southeast swells of two feet. The water temperature is 77 degrees. There's a low risk of rip currents today. But strong currents can still occur near piers, jetties and other areas, especially during the low tide cycle.

Swim only on guarded beaches and discuss any possible surf zone hazards with the guards. There is no lightning threat today. The UV index is an 8, which the NWS considers very high.

Low tide rolled in at 5:42 a.m. The next high tide will arrive at 11:47 a.m., followed by another low tide at 5:55 p.m.
