BERKELEY, NJ — A Township Council meeting on Monday and concerts in Veterans Park Wednesday are some of the events to look forward to this week in Berkeley.

Monday, June 24

The Berkeley Township Council meets at 6 p.m. As of Sunday evening, no agenda has been posted.

Tuesday, June 25

The Berkeley Township Board of Education meets at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, June 26

Berkeley Township's "Sounds of Summer" free concert series at Veterans Park returns with Rock N' Rhythm at 6 p.m. and The Infernos Band at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy fireworks after the show.

Thursday, June 27

The Summer Picnic Party kicks off the summer season at John C. Bartlett, Jr. County Park at Berkeley Island from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and there will be live music, games and food trucks.

Friday, June 28

Kids can touch a truck at Jakes Branch County Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first half hour is sensory friendly for kids with special needs.
