Coronavirus Testing Available To All Berkeley Residents
Urgent Care Now in Toms River and Lanoka Harbor can test all residents for the virus, symptomatic or not.

LACEY, NJ — Urgent Care Now in Lanoka Harbor and Toms River have coronavirus testing available for all Berkeley Township residents. Patients must show a driver's license or government-issued ID showing a Berkeley address.
All Berkeley residents who show proper identification can get tested, including people not showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Residents should also show a valid insurance card, or an original social security card if uninsured.

As New Jersey attempts to move toward universal coronavirus testing, each facility that tests asymptomatic individuals represents a step toward that objective.
Opportunities for asymptomatic patients to get tested have popped up throughout the state. But the Ocean County Health Department's drive-thru testing currently requires patients have be symptomatic and have a healthcare practitioner script.

Urgent Care Now recently began allowing all residents of certain towns to get tested at their facilities, making the step last week for Lacey.
The coronavirus has hit Berkeley harder than almost any town in Ocean County, according to the county health department's data. The Ocean County Health Department has reported 631 cases (sixth highest in the county) and 83 deaths (fourth highest) in Berkeley as of Wednesday morning.
The state has reported the following totals in Berkeley longterm-care facilities as of Wednesday morning:
- Crystal Lake Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center: 66 cases and 25 deaths among residents, 47 cases among staff
- Tallwoods Care Center: 20 cases and two deaths among residents, 10 cases among staff
