The Girls Competed in the 2017 Freshman/Novice Championships Yesterday, and had some great results. Kristena Fontano took home a gold medal in the Novice High Jump with a jump of 4' 8"! Ma Lyfe Vaughn Threw in the Novice Shot Put and placed 2nd. Gianna Argento, Remi Christiansen, Maya Joyner, and Xenia Tchoudov all ran in the Novice 4x400 and took 2nd. Freshman Meghan Askew took 3rd in the 400m. The Freshman 4x400 team took 4th place home for CR. Freshman Briana Rullo threw in Javelin and took 4th place. Molly Hall took 4th in the Novice Javelin, along side of her is Alexandrea DeJesus taking 5th place. Freshman Savannah Quick ran in the 1600m and took 5th place. Freshman Merce Corbin took 5th in the Long Jump. Freshman Kayla Chiorazzi took home two 5th place medals in the Discus and Shot Put!
