Debra L. Weipz Of Bayville Dies At 62

Debra L. Weipz, 62, of Bayville, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Born in Lakewood on June 25, 1954, she was raised in Ocean Gate.

Debra was a 1972 graduate of Central Regional High School, Berkeley Township.She was employed for 25 years as a supervisor at Ocean County Buildings and Grounds before retiring in August of 2015.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas Weipz; a son, Thomas J. Weipz; a daughter, Lori Weipz (Rich Versnel); and six granddaughters, Allysse, Sadie, Nicole, Brooke, Samantha, and Cheyenne; a sister, Mildred (Bob) Scaglione; and a sister-in-law, Catherine (Jeff) LeDroux.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Layton's Home For Funerals, (609) 971-6800, 250 W. Lacey Road, Forked River, Lacey. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016. Graveside services will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
