Easter Egg Hunt Canceled In Berkeley
Update: due to impending severe weather, Berkeley Recreation's annual Easter egg hunt has been canceled.
BERKELEY, NJ — Due to impending severe weather, Berkeley Recreation's annual Easter egg hunt at Veterans Park has been canceled, the township announced.
The event had been scheduled for March 23 with a rain date of March 24, but two major storms in the forecast mean it will not be going on.
It will not be rescheduled.

However, the goodies meant for the hunt will be used as part of a special addition to the National Night Out Against Crime event on Aug. 7, according to Mayor John Bacchione. Expect further updates on that as the date draws closer.
"We apologize for any convenience and look forward to seeing you and your families soon!" Bacchione said.
