Edna E. Poh, 86, of the Bayville, passed away on November 14, 2014, at the Bea Lea Nursing Home in Toms River.
She was born in Philadelphia and has lived in Bayville since 1931. Mrs. Poh was a member of Morning Star Presbyterian Church in Bayville, Bayville Elks, Berkeley Township Historical Society, Deborah Heart and Lung Association, and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Bayville First Aid Squad and Bayville Fire Co. She dearly loved being with her family and will be greatly missed by them.
Edna was predeceased by her husbands: Guy Chamberlain in 1970, and John Poh in 1985; her son Guy Chamberlain in 1995; and her siblings George Schumacher and Caroline Hunter. She is survived by her two daughters: Diane Porreca and her husband Ronald of Bayville, and Sandra Taylor and her husband Thomas of Warren Grove,; her brother Robert Schumacher of Pine Beach, her sister Elsie Downs of Island Heights, five granddaughters and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Nov. 19 at Morning Star Presbyterian Church, 1 Morning Star Way, Bayville. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery in Lanoka Harbor.
