Edward F. Noonan Of Berkeley Township Dies At 76

U.S. Korean War Veteran was the husband of Township Council President Judy Noonan

Edward F. Noonan, 76, of Berkeley Township, died peacefully on December 31, 2014 with his loving family at his bedside.

Born in Rockville Center, New York, Ed has been a resident of Berkeley Township since 2000. He was employed many years with the Asbestos Union Local #32, Newark NJ, working the Alaska Pipe Line Project and many other major construction sites.

Mr. Noonan proudly served his country in the US Army in the Korean War Era. Ed was also an avid golfer, who enjoyed many outings at the Cedar Creek Golf Course in Berkeley Township.

Surviving are his wife, Berkeley Township Council President, Judy Noonan; his stepdaughter, Sandra Covill; a sister, Marie Gladstone, two nephews, David Gladstone and Kevin Noonan; three nieces, Elaine Hansch, Clare Gladstone and Denise Russell.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be offered on Sunday, Jan. 11, from 11a.m. to 1p.m.with a Prayer Service at 12:30 p.., in the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville.
